 Ronald McDonald House Charities® through its cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House in Harlingen, Texas, provides a home-away-from-home for families whose seriously-ill children are receiving medical care at local hospitals and clinics. Since our doors opened in 1998, more than 1,500 families have called the Rio Grande Valley’s Ronald McDonald House home.

Dear Friends of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Rio Grande Valley,
We are preparing a taste-tempting cookbook featuring favorite recipes from friends of our organization and members of the community who have supported us throughout the years. Our cookbook will be beautifully illustrated and bound, and is sure to be treasured for years.
We would like you to submit 3 or 4 of your favorite recipes, (no more than five) so you can be represented in our memorable collection. Follow the instructions listed on this form. Your name and town will be printed on each of the recipes.

Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr. Honorary Chair of the 2010 Red Shoe Classic Golf Tournament
September 11th is the date for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Rio Grande Valley’s 2010 Red Shoe Classic Golf Tournament.
The tournament will be held at Palm View Golf Course in McAllen. Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr. will be the Honorary Chair for this annual Event. Sponsorships are available by calling the Ronald McDonald House in Harlingen at 956-412-7200.

 Greetings from the Ronald McDonald House! We are very excited to start another year with the collection of pull tabs. Last year we raised over 6,000 pounds of pull tabs and it was thanks to your hard work and dedication! This year we know you can help us exceed this goal. If your school is not currently involved in the Pull Tab Campaign, this will be a good project for your student council body. We have made changes to the Pull Tab Campaign to make it easier and more convenient for our schools. Registration packets will be mailed out September 6, 2010. Additional information will be posted on the website. Are you ready? Start your engines! P.S.: We will be holding our McHappy Day Penny Drive November 13, 2010. You can start saving your pocket change and donate it to the Ronald McDonald House. With your support, families can have a place to stay while their children are hospitalized. |
